Melbourne, Florida (March 9, 2023) - Eclipse Advantage, a leading provider of customized workforce solutions that improve productivity and accountability, announced its merger with Express Container Management (ECM), a 20-year veteran in container unloading solutions with a presence in over 300 locations across Canada and the Northwestern United States.
The combined companies provide services to over 500 locations throughout the United States and Canada, positioning Eclipse Advantage to expand its footprint and container unloading solutions, as well as add ECM's cutting-edge technology platform to its services. The merger will strengthen both companies and offer clients new and improved solutions.
ECM's technology platform provides real-time visibility to both customers and workers, enhancing operational efficiency and streamlining the unloading process. The merger will also allow Eclipse Advantage to offer container unloading solutions to its customers and help to address the continued demand that has disrupted the market during Covid with the build-up of containers at the dock.
Pete Westermann, CEO of Eclipse Advantage, remarked, "The merger with ECM is an exciting opportunity for us to expand our container unloading solutions and provide even more value to our customers. We are thrilled to be able to join forces with Jeff Spiteri, Owner and President of ECM, who is a true entrepreneur and shares our values of putting customers and workers first."
Jeff Spiteri, Owner and President of ECM, said that he is excited about the merger and the potential for growth for both companies. "This merger provides a significant opportunity for us to expand our operations across North America, and we are excited to work with Eclipse Advantage's experienced sales, marketing, recruitment, IT and safety teams to continue providing excellent service to our clients," he added.
The two companies will maintain their headquarters in Melbourne, Florida, and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, respectively. Pete Westermann will serve as CEO of the combined businesses, while Jeff Spiteri will continue as President of ECM.
